Yoga classes at Studio Bamboo range from gentle to challenging, from relaxing restorative classes to the most intense practice imaginable. We also offer specialized classes in kids, pre-natal, post-natal, yoga for therapy (rehabilitative) & adaptive yoga (for those with special needs), yoga for athletes, seniors, hot classes,  in addition to enhance your practice we offer  Barre and Pilates classes, you will find them all and even more at Studio Bamboo. If you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner at our Center you will find a class to meet your needs.

Barre Fitness is a workout that blends ballet barre exercises with pilates and yoga concepts and is designed to trim, tighten, and tone your entire body, with an emphasis on defining your gluttes, and legs. By using small, controlled movements, isometric holds, and high repetition, you can develop a dancer like physique, much faster than you can imagine! The Barre workshop will introduce to the concepts of Barre Fitness while providing a high-energy cardio workout to lift and strengthen. No previous dance experience needed. We will be doing floor work - so please bring your mat!

This class provides the same challenging workout as our regular Barre Fitness class but in a 45-minute version. Express classes are offered at certain points of the day for those that want a more “express” workout. These classes follow the same format as their full length counterparts just in a slightly condensed time frame to help fit into your busy schedule.

Community Class is a Beginner level practice and that is a donation bases class. This class is taught by our graduating and graduated teacher trainees. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

Fluid Power is an exhilarating moving meditation that integrates inversions, core strengthening, dynamic movement, static holds, and pranayama. This practice is a fluid, precise, and technique oriented class that will take the practitioner deeper than imaginable. NO BEGINNERS PLEASE.
Foundations is an introductory class designed for the new yoga practitioner or those who want to get back to the "basics." This class will focus on the principles of alignment and begin to introduce breathwork. Classes will improve balance, strength, flexibility and promote better body awareness.

A slower paced class designed to relieve stiff muscles & joints through movement. Warm ups, gentle asana, breath work , balance, and stretches. Suitable for anyone who wants to reduce stress through movement and relaxation or those who suffer from joint issues/arthritis.

Hot Yoga is a specific sequence of standing, seated and backbending postures practiced in a heated room. This class is designed to build flexibility and strengthen the body. The heated room promotes detoxification and cell renewal. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

We all live busy lives even our children. Let your kids come have some fun and decompress. Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. For children ages 4-11.
This multilevel class will bring your yoga practice full circle. Included in this practice are standing and seated postures, backbends, twists and inversions. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.
Multi flow is a multilevel vinyasa-style practice with a blend of sun salutes, standing, balancing and seated postures, core work, and inversions. Appropriate modifications and variations will be offered to meet all needs. All levels are welcome.
Mat Pilates is designed to improve strength and flexibility through a series of floor exercises using only body weight. It focuses on strengthening the muscles of the hips, back, abdominals and glutes, or what is known as the powerhouse. Mat Pilates will tone and tighten your entire core, as well as your legs and arms, giving you a long lean look. Variations and modifications are given so that all levels are challenged.
Power Hour is an invigorating one hour astanga based class. Begin your day with fluid motion, core strengthening, static holds, and inversions. This practice is a strength and technique oriented class. General knowledge of asana preferred.
Got a teeny yogini on the way? Pre-natal class will help  improve circulation, help digestion, and increase overall comfort. Pre-natal class can also help alleviate some of the discomforts of pregnancy.  Along with other moms-to-be, you will find comfort in the ability to freely discuss any issues, concerns, or the amazing new changes your body and baby are experiencing.
Restorative yoga is a form of active therapeutic relaxation that uses props to modify traditional yoga postures. These modified postures open the body to deep relaxation and healing. This class is ideal for those suffering from chronic pain, stress, injury, or those wanting to relax and renew.
Vinyasa INT (intermediate) is designed to increase strength and endurance. Movement is synchronized with the breath as practitioners explore hip openers, backbends, arm balances and inversions. This class targets the intermediate practitioner. NO BEGINNERS PLEASE.
In Yin Yoga, we hold postures for several minutes, usually from a couple to five minutes. We focus on relaxing the muscles of the target areas that we intend to influence. This allows not only for muscles to get a deep stretch, but for deep tissues such as fascia, ligaments, tendons and joints to be exercised in a very beneficial way. This type of yoga is an ideal compliment to Yang exercises, which include non-Yin Yoga, running, walking, biking and working out with weights. Yin Yoga is associated with improvement in flexibility, maintenance of mobility, and a high likelihood of euphoria.
Give yourself the gift of presence and breathe with a light-hearted and fun practice which will consist of light flow paired with longer held poses to allow for deeper surrender, acceptance, and present moment awareness. There is nothing better than a good practice to prepare you to cope with the inherent stressors that naturally occur. All levels welcome.
The Yoga Wall is basically a prop that can be used for many types of poses from standing poses, back bends, forward bends, inversions, and more. The Wall allows students to move deeper into poses, to understand alignment, and to be more playful in practice. The wall class is appropriate for students of all levels.
