Maria Miglioretti started teaching yoga quite by accident in 2001 and has been hooked ever since. A student of Beryl Bender Birch at The Hard and The Soft Yoga Institute in East Hampton New York, Maria teaches a powerful vinyasa class with roots in the Astanga tradition. Maria's classes are vigorous and high energy and challenge students to quiet the mind while testing the body.

In addition to yoga, Maria's other passions include spending time with her husband and their five-year-old daughter, travel, photography and reading. She is also a REALTOR in Virginia Beach and lives at the North End.
